  • Implement accreditation criteria, laws, and standards into your CME program
  • Employ tested processes for developing CME content through outcome measurement
  • Demonstrate improved competence, performance, and patient care outcomes
  • Incorporate CLC/IB laws into the CME program
  • Design a RSS system of compliance
  • Perform an annual evaluation of outcomes analysis
  • Measure your CME Mission Statement with your outcomes analysis
  • Write a CME Improvement Plan
  • Audit your own CME program
  • Get your program in compliance one year prior to submission of reaccreditation materials
  • Prepare and submit initial or reaccreditation materials
  • Apply for commendation accreditation

If you need training in one or more areas not mentioned above, contact judy@cmeconsultants.com and ask Judy if it can be done.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Directors of CME

CME Committee Chairs

RSS Moderators/Coordinators

CME Coordinators

Medical Staff Professionals

Performance Improvement Personnel

CEO’s and Administrators who want more bang for their buck

All Others Interested in the CME Process and Category 1 Accreditation

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?

  • Because the interpretation of compliance with criteria continues to evolve
  • Because most CME programs are not meeting all criteria relating to RSS’, comprehensive review of the overall CME program
  • Because Standards for Commercial Support (now Standards for Integrity and Independence) have changed
  • Because the reaccreditation processes have changed
  • Because you need to demonstrate improved outcomes in physician competence, performance, and/or patient care (not just knowledge)
